In essence you compile an email list and email them with the stuff that you want to send, that they may want to receive and they buy your stuff or book your services – Simples!!

You have to be aware of national (and international) email regulations.
You have to make sure you adhere to any legal requirements and applicable laws in your area when sending automated emails, like the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the Europe, the CAN-SPAM Act in the United States and the Canadian Anti-Spam Law (CASL) for the treatment of personal information.
The regulations are based on both your location and the location of your subscribers, and it’s your responsibility to know which laws apply to you. Get it wrong and you could be fined (or worse!).
You have to build up a list of email subscribers – this can be done by getting people to opt in to receiving emails from you, via a custom sign up form – get them to provide their details by offering them a lead magnet when they sign up – a free quote, a free PDF of tips, a chance to win a prize etc.
When they sign up, it is then best to segment that list into different section if required – for example – people interested in website tips, people interested in SEO tips, people interested in marketing tips etc.
Then you have to create suitable content to those particular groups, highlighting the suitable stuff that they might want to buy, or direct them to information that will help them on your website where you are selling your special round-to-it they need…
